During this period of austerity the Foreign Aid Budget has been steadily rising and is now £14billion, providing no benefit to struggling UK families, but no austerity for foreign countries supported by this aid. Meanwhile cash strapped Local Authorities throughout the UK are closing facilities and provision for disabled children/young people, vulnerable adults and sick/elderly people, leaving families desperately struggling to cope in impossible circumstances.
