A man in crisis that's been referred by a GP waits 4 weeks to be helped. We don't have enough resources and there are hardly any men’s refuge centres.

There is a stigma behind mens mental health. A recent facebook group was created called Men Unite. A closed private group for men who need to speak about depression, addiction, alcoholism, victims of abuse and domestic violence, debts, bereavement. Within 5 weeks there is 9,000 male members from 64 countries. This is not by chance or luck. It is because it I exactly what the problem is. many men, suffering in silence. No resources to help, lack of support. Awareness and funding needs to increase
