Make Alzheimer's/Dementia care fully funded on the NHS

My Wife has stage 6/7 Alzheimer's and will require NHS continuing Healthcare funding as she need to go into permanent care due to her rapidly deteriorating condition. Her faecal incontinence and inability to communicate will require constant medical attention.

The bureaucratic attitude of CCGs towards determining eligibility for NHS continuing healthcare is failing to recognise the effects of Alzheimer's and causing sufferers and carers many stressful difficulties in applying for and keeping financial support.
