Assisted suicide is legal in some countries, under certain circumstances, including Canada, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Colombia, Switzerland, and parts of the USA and Australia. There is absolutely no reason why it should not be legal in the United Kingdom. It needs acting on now.
