Raise the national speed limit to 80mph on UK Motorways

Everyday our motorways are full of drivers tailgating the vehicle in front which are causing too many accidents. If the speed limit was raised then there would be less tailgating which could reduce the number of accidents. Also this new speed limit could increase the UK productivity.
