Do not ban eating on public transport.

The outgoing Chief medical officer, Dame Sally Davies, has proposed banning eating on public transport to tackle child obesity. Imagine not being able to eat on a 5-hour train journey. Parents are responsible for their child's welfare, and the state has no right to interfere.
