Force Newspapers to print their retractions on same page as the original story

Too often, tabloid newspapers print sensationalist headlines and biased stories, which are partially or even completely false. The newspaper then later prints a very small correction, tucked away deep inside the newspaper.

The press need to be held accountable for their demonstrably false stories, if they were forced by law to make a retraction or correction on the same page number (eg the front page for a headline later proved wrong) and also the same size (area of pages) as their original story, it would make them think twice about proceeding with the original story, and make the correction much more visible to their readers.
