Restrict Government support for Covid-19 to dividend-paying companies

No government grants, bailouts or loans should be paid to companies that are still paying shareholder dividends during the current Covid-19 crisis. Any tax-payer funded financial assistance should be paid back in full by recipients before they can resume paying dividends to their shareholders.

I believe a lot of companies and other organisations will require financial assistance during the current covid-19 crisis to prevent the decimation of the economy going forward but it would be wrong for them to take this money and use it to pay dividends to shareholders when we are supposed to be pulling together as a nation and so many people are finding themselves in financially precarious positions.
