This petition suggests the government mandates through law or another enforceable mechanism that businesses do not leave unnecessary electrical equipment switched on during the Covid-19 epidemic whilst their offices are unoccupied to assist with reducing the United Kingdom's contributions to the ongoing climate crisis and to help companies make economic savings to ensure they can pay their employees salaries with as little government intervention as possible.
