Provide accreditation for volunteers in Government-supported Covid-19 schemes

During the Covid-19 crisis many people are in self isolation due to health issues and are relying on the help of volunteers, who may be unregistered and unchecked (some who could have criminal backgrounds or want to take advantage). I want the government to set up a scheme to accredit volunteers.

Many vulnerable people in self-isolation due to health issues are reaching out on social media and asking for the help of strangers. Sadly some people offering to volunteer may not have vulnerable peoples interest at heart and might take advantage, a national scheme that can DBS check volunteers and give them an approved badge would help safeguard these vulnerable people during the Covid-19 crisis Currently nothing.
