Provide urgent support and PPE to carers during coronavirus crisis

We're asking the government to give PPE to carers and offer them regular testing so as to protect the vulnerable. GOV.UK warns the virus can be transmitted without showing symptoms yet also stated “if neither the care worker nor the individual receiving care is symptomatic, then no PPE is required”

The government needs to act now to protect the vulnerable and those they rely on, by:
a. Providing PPE (masks and eye protection in particular) to all UK carers
b. Offering weekly coronavirus testing to all UK carers
c. For all staff in UK care homes, offering weekly coronavirus testing and daily fever checks before entering work
d. Providing an official statement with full, clear and practical advice for carers and those receiving care, in line with advice about asymptomatic transmission
