Increase number of guests allowed at weddings from 15 to at least 30

Wedding ceremonies and celebrations are a vital part of society. Many believe the maximum number of guests authorised at wedding ceremonies should be increased. The number of guests permitted at weddings should be calculated according to venue capacity. Providing social distancing can be adhered.

The Wedding industry should not have to suffer if social distancing can be observed. It is more than apparent that social distancing is not practised at public places of leisure such as bars and pubs. If one can visit a large pub for several hours mixing with other households, guidelines for weddings should be reconsidered.
