Cut MLA's salaries to basic Universal Credit rate until an executive is formed

Due to an unacceptable abandonment of civic duties, I propose that elected MLA's salaries be cut, to match basic-rate Universal Credit, until an executive is formed. This should provide impetus for dissenting political figures to make good on their requirement to form a government.

For over a third of its life, there has not been a devolved government in Stormont. We believe this shows a disregard for civic duty and basic respect for the electorate, and is a contempt that transcends community boundaries in NI, and hurts us all equally.

Due to what we believe is a constant abuse of what ought to be a drastic measure, it is right that MLA's pay is reduced unless and until there an executive is formed, and that this pay reduction is implemented if an executive collapses or is not formed in the future, to disincentivise further efforts to delay the formation of an executive.
