Abolish the BBC TV Licence and Introduce a Subscription-Only BBC

We want the Government to abolish the BBC TV licence fee and make BBC services subscription-based. We believe people should be able to choose whether they pay for BBC content, rather than being required to pay for a TV licence to watch live television or use BBC services.

The current system requires people to pay for a TV licence to watch live television or use BBC iPlayer. We believe the BBC should move to a subscription-based model, allowing people to choose whether they want to pay for BBC services. This would give households greater choice over which services they pay for, while allowing the BBC to continue providing content to those who subscribe.
