Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, whether he has had recent discussions with the European Commission on the comparison made between Ukraine and the Republic of Ireland in the speech by the President of the European Commission to the Irish parliament on 1 December 2022.

The Government has regular conversations with the European Commission at both official and Ministerial level.
