Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether his Department's 2013 guidance that ordered Departments to stop using higher-rate telephone lines for key services was ever revoked or updated.

In December 2013 the Government published guidance on departments’ use of telephone prefixes and freephone numbers. This was updated and published in October 2015 and can be found here:
