South Wales Railway Line: Electrification

Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what recent progress has been made on electrification of the rail line to Swansea.

On the Great Western Mainline, electrification works continue along the route to Wales and new intercity trains will start to be delivered later this year.
