Plymouth has received Coastal Communities Fund grants worth £2.67 million for two projects since 2013: £670,000 in 2013 for the regeneration of Plymouth’s waterfront; and £2 million in 2017 to create new and refurbish existing cultural and heritage venues in the city.

I announced on 4 September last year that Coastal Communities Fund Round 5 will open for applications early this year with at least £40 million of funding available.

Hon Members with coastal constituencies should encourage prospective applicants to make an early start in developing their plans for revitalising their local communities.
