Carillion: Insolvency

Question to the Cabinet Office:
To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what steps he is taking to ensure that SMEs do not experience delayed payments due to the liquidation of Carillion.

Through the official receiver, we are continuing to make provision for payments to maintain public services both to suppliers and subcontractors. If any subcontractors are experiencing difficulties they should talk in the first place to the Insolvency Service.
