Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to the correspondence of 30 October 2025 from the former Cabinet Secretary to the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee, if he will place in the Library a copy of the guidance on making Direct Ministerial Appointments that was used to guide the due diligence on Lord Mandelson published in Volume 1 of the Humble Address response.

I refer the Hon Member to the former Cabinet Secretary’s letter of 11 November 2025 to the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, to which the guidance is annexed.
