Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what progress her Department has made on enabling new legacy benefit claimants to submit their supporting documents electronically via a secure online portal.

Where it can be done appropriately and securely, the uploading of documents such as fit-notes and CVs is encouraged for certain benefit systems. DWP does not currently enable citizens to upload documents to all of our legacy benefit systems but we are continuously looking at ways to improve and enhance the customer experience.
