Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether he plans to require Government suppliers to publish (a) their processes for dealing with and (b) anonymised outcomes of whistleblowing cases and complaints as a condition of entering into contracts with Government.

The Government has noted that this is one of the recommendations in the latest report on ethical standards in outsourced public services published earlier this month by the Committee on Standards in Public Life (CSPL).

We will make our formal response to the Committee in due course.
