Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many contractors have been employed by his Department for (a) up to one year, (b) between one and five years, (c) between five and 10 years and (d) over 10 years.

As at 30^th April 2018, the number of contractors working in the Department (including Central Department and Executive Agencies) is as follows:

141 working for up to 1 year

86 working for between one and five years

Less than 5 working for between five and ten years

0 working for over 10 years
