Question to the Attorney General:

To ask the Attorney General, what information he holds on the timetable for the Supreme Court hearing on the UK Withdrawal from the European Union (Legal Continuity) (Scotland) Bill.

On 17^th April this year, the Advocate General for Scotland and I referred the UK Withdrawal from the European Union (Legal Continuity) (Scotland) Bill to the Supreme Court for a decision on whether the Bill would be within the legislative competence of the Scottish Parliament.

The hearing is due to take place in July 2018 and we are in the process of agreeing a timetable for filing written cases with the Scottish Government in accordance with directions from the Supreme Court.
