Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, if she will publish a copy of the full focus group findings referenced in Bank of England's Banknote imagery advisory group minutes - October 2025, meeting held on 14 October 2025, Item 3, published on 17 April 2026; and state how the focus groups were selected and comprised.

The Bank of England is operationally independent in its banknote production decisions. The Bank will respond to the honorable Member, and a copy of the letter will be placed in the Library of the House of Commons.
