Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what estimate she has made of the proportion of universal credit payments made (a) for the housing element directly to landlords and (b) more frequently than monthly.

The information requested on the proportion of payments made more frequently than monthly is not currently available.

In response to requests for information on Universal Credit we have consulted users on the expansion of Universal Credit statistics and are currently reviewing the responses.
