Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, pursuant to the Answer of 12 June 2026 to Question 6444 on Lord Mandelson, if she will set out in which ways the policy of commenting on individual personnel matters has applied in relation to the response to the House's Humble Address on Lord Mandelson’s appointment.

The Government's policy of not commenting on individual personnel matters remains unchanged, but where the Humble Address process required the disclosure of relevant documentation, we have met those requirements.
