Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, how many pensions under the British Coal Staff Superannuation Scheme have been paid to dependents since 1994.

The Government does not hold this information. However, as of 31 March 2023, there were 11,589 pensions in payment to dependants.
