Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether he has made an estimate of the number of retirement village properties that remain unsold following the (a) death and (b) transfer into care of the leaseholder; and whether he plans to bring forward measures to protect families from ongoing service charges, ground rents and other property-related costs while such properties remain on the market.
