Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what estimate he has made of the level of Co2 emissions from private transport in (a) London, (b) England and Wales and (c) the UK.

Estimates of the levels of CO2 emissions from cars, mopeds and motorcycles for England and Wales and the UK are shown in the table below. Equivalent data for London is not available for these vehicle types. Figures include emissions from taxis and private hire vehicles.
