Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what the times taken to decide claims, measured by actual average clarance time, were for (a) jobseeker's allowance and (b) employment and support allowance, for the longest and shortest deciles of claims, processed in each financial year since 2008-09.

We are unable to provide data for the longest and shortest deciles of claims as this data is not readily available and to provide it would incur disproportionate cost.
