Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, with reference to the policy paper, Creating a clear, rules-based planning system, of 17 August 2026, whether the ‘default yes’ for development around well-connected stations includes applications and appeals for traveller sites.

I refer the Rt Hon. Member to policies S4, S5, L3 and GB7 of the new National Planning Policy Framework published on 17 August.
