Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what assessment her Department has made of the potential impact of using carbon dioxide (CO₂) to stun pigs before slaughter on animal welfare; and whether she plans to phase out the use of CO₂ stunning.
