Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, when he plans to bring forward secondary legislation to grant new powers to the Financial Policy Committee in respect of a leverage ratio framework.

A draft statutory instrument that will grant the Financial Policy Committee new powers of direction with regards to a leverage ratio framework was laid before the House on 12 February 2015. This instrument will soon be debated on the Floor of the House.
