Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, how many staff in his Department and its executive agencies and associated bodies were engaged off-payroll in each of the last five years up to the most recent period for which figures are available.

The number of staff in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and its executive agencies and associated bodies engaged off-payroll for the last five years are stated in the table below. Our figure for 2014/15 is from 1st April 2014 to 28th February 2015¹.
