Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to his Answer of 26 February 2019 to Question 224488 on European University Institute, whether he has sought legal advice on his assessment that in the event of the UK leaving the EU without a deal, the UK’s membership of the EUIC will automatically cease on 29 March 2019.

Legal advice was received before the European University Institute (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 were submitted.
