Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment has she made of the potential benefit of establishing a national care service.

On 29 July, as set out in the link below, the Prime Minister set out the reasons why it is essential to reform the adult social care system and brought forward the timetable for Baroness Louise Casey’s independent commission to make recommendations on establishing a National Care Service:
