Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, what plans she has to engage with the Northern Ireland Executive on her departmental priorities.

DESNZ engages regularly with the Northern Ireland Executive on matters relating to energy security, net zero and climate change. This includes through established intergovernmental structures, including the Net Zero, Energy and Climate Change Interministerial Group, its supporting official-level forums, as well as through regular bilateral ministerial and official engagement with Northern Ireland Executive counterparts. Recent discussions have covered issues including energy security, fuel resilience, electricity system preparedness and net zero priorities.
