Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, what discussions she has had with energy companies on reforming the energy market since her appointment.

The Secretary of State has regular discussions with energy companies on a range of subjects including energy market reform.

The Government’s vision is for a retail energy market that works for consumers, is more resilient and enables households to benefit from cheap, clean power. We are also strengthening Ofgem so it can enforce higher standards and improve redress.
