Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what steps she plans to take to ensure that opportunities for development around railway stations are reflected in local plans.

I refer the hon. Members to policies HC1, S2 and S5 of the new National Planning Policy Framework published on 17 August.
