We are not aware of any effect on Armed Forces recruitment. As of October 2025, when we introduced the Bill, more people are joining the Armed Forces than leaving them for the first time since 2022. In the year to July 2026, recruitment is up by 7%, and outflow is down by 7%. The Government is delivering for our Service personnel, and we remain committed to ensuring they are heard.
