Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what discussions officials in her Department have had with the Department for Transport on the future of the Electric Vehicle Pavement Channels Grant beyond the 2025–26 financial year.

The Electric Vehicle Pavement Channels Grant was a one-year allocation to all Tier 1 local authorities in England to support local authorities to adopt pavement channels as part of their local charging solutions. 83 local authorities were approved for funding. The Government continues to support local authorities to deliver their schemes and requires quarterly reporting where grant funding has been provided to support progress.
