Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment she has made with Cabinet colleagues of the potential impact of the proposal to require synthetic folic acid to be added to non-wholemeal flour on the health of (a) pregnant women and (b) the wider population.

I refer the Hon. Member to the answer provided on 17 July in response to Question 18201.
