Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, whether measures to enable homes and smaller businesses to buy electricity directly from local community-run energy enterprises will be in the forthcoming Energy Independence Bill.

The scope and content of the Energy Independence Bill will be set out in due course when it is introduced to Parliament.
