Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, pursuant to the answer of 8 September 2026, to question 23157 on Hinchingbrooke Hospital, by what date will the business case for the land acquisition go to the Department’s Joint Investment Committee for approval.

Further to the answer provided on 8 September to Question 23157, the Hinchingbrooke’s land acquisition business case was approved with conditions by the Department’s Joint Investment Committee on 9 September 2026. The trust will need to confirm completion of these conditions before final approval is provided.
