Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, with reference to the Answer of 9 March 2026 to Question 117675 on National Wealth Fund, whether the director of the National Wealth Fund in Northern Ireland was notified of the UKRI/Innovate UK event for local businesses held in Londonderry on 20 May 2026.

The NWF Strategic Plan 2026 sets out the National Wealth Fund (NWF)’s ambition to accelerate place-based investment across all four nations of the UK

While the NWF has no record of the UKRI/Innovate UK event for local businesses held in Londonderry on 20 May 2026, it continues to support growth and investment opportunities across Northern Ireland

Through its backing of Fibrus, the NWF has helped connect approximately 315,000 homes in Northern Ireland to fast fibre broadband, improving connectivity for households and businesses and supporting long-term economic growth across the region.
