Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, when he plans to set out a timetable for implementing the recommendations of the Law Commission’s Review of the Friendly Societies Acts 1974 and 1992, published on 10 September 2026.

The Government is committed to supporting growth in the mutuals sector and will carefully consider the Law Commission's Review of the Friendly Societies Acts 1974 and 1992.
