The Government continues to back the UK’s transition to electric vehicles with £7.5 billion to grow the market, boost electric vehicle manufacturing and build up the charging network.

In the context of the global challenges facing the automotive sector, the Government continues to engage with UK-based manufacturers on a regular basis to ensure that the transition delivers for them, including as part of the Zero Emission Vehicle Mandate Review, which is currently subject to consultation.
