The Department regularly engages with the West Midlands Combined Authority and Birmingham City Council on transport priorities across the region, including the development and delivery of the Transport for City Regions settlement.

The West Midlands Combined Authority has been allocated almost £2.4 billion through the settlement. It is for the Combined Authority, working with its constituent authorities and local partners, to decide how that funding is used to support local priorities and deliver benefits for communities across the region, including Royal Sutton Coldfield.
