Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what assessment her Department has made of the potential for Food Standards Agency-approved slaughterhouses to accommodate Jhatka slaughter methods that comply with general animal welfare laws; and what steps she is taking to support dietary diversity for the Sikh community in the UK.
